Qualifications
You must meet language proficiency in either Korean or English below.
- Korean: Minimum TOPIK Level 3
※You must obtain TOPIK Level 4 for graduation. - English: Minimum English TOEFL 550, CBT 210, iBT 80 or lELTS 5.5 or TEPS 550 or any nationally recognized English Ability Test result equivalent. ※However, Exchange Students, Korean Government Scholarship Students, Foreign Government Scholarship Students and students who apply for Fine Arts, Music, Physical Education, Natural Science, and Engineering major are able to apply with a letter of recommendation issued by a GWNU professor in the department that the student will belong to.
※Master’s major does not have to be same major as bachelor’s major.
※Doctoral course is only applicable between related majors from Master’s course.

- Master’s Applicants: Bachelor’s Diploma or Certificate of Degree
- Doctoral Applicants: both Bachelor’s Diploma and Master’s Diploma
- Transcript of previous degree (Original Copy)
- Statement of Purpose (GWNU Form)
- Resume (GWNU Form)
- Letter of Self-Introduction (GWNU Form)
- Two Letters of Recommendation (by dean of applicant’s college or academic advisor)
- Copy of Residence certificate (or family register) issued by government office
- Copy of Passport
- Certificate of Valid Korean or English Proficiency Test (Original Copy)
- Bank Deposit Receipt which guarantees at least USD 12,000 in your or sponsor's bank account for a period of at least one month from your Financial Sponsor)

※ Documents in any other languages must be accompanied by a complete Korean or English translation, authenticated by the issuing institution or notarized by a notary public.
※Applicants who received a degree in China must submit degree certification from 中國高等敎育學生信息网 (China Higher-education student information).
